Role Overview
FusionTek is a premier US-based Managed Service Provider (MSP) that has been delivering elite IT infrastructure management since 2007. We are looking for a high-caliber Helpdesk Technician II to join our global team.
As a crucial member of our Tier 2 support team, you will move beyond basic troubleshooting to solve complex technical challenges. You will serve as an escalation point for junior technicians, ensuring that our small- to mid-sized business clients receive proactive, high-quality technical assistance.
Key Responsibilities
- Advanced Support: Address and resolve escalated tickets from Tier 1 staff, providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Deep Troubleshooting: Perform detailed diagnostics for Windows and MacOS systems, resolving intricate hardware and software conflicts.
- Infrastructure Deployment: Assist in the implementation and configuration of new hardware, ensuring seamless user onboarding.
- Process Optimization: Collaborate with the global team to refine support workflows and enhance client satisfaction.
- Meticulous Documentation: Maintain precise records of all support interactions, creating a robust knowledge base of solutions.
Technical Requirements
- Certifications: * Required: A+ and/or Network+ (Must be obtained shortly after hire if not currently held).
- Preferred: MD-102 (Endpoint Administrator).
- Operating Systems: Expert knowledge of Windows 10/11, MacOS, and Windows Server (2016–2022).
- Networking: Solid understanding of SonicWall firewalls, Datto networking, and general networking concepts.
- Cloud Services: Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Office Suite & Cloud Services). Familiarity with Azure and/or AWS is highly advantageous.
- Data Protection: Knowledge of Datto BCDR and/or SaaS Backup solutions.
- Platform Experience: Experience with Autotask PSA is a significant plus.
