The Role
As a Store Assistant, you are a brand ambassador at the forefront of luxury retail. You will provide unparalleled service, support sales success, and uphold our prestigious reputation through meticulous stock organization and precise cash management.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Experience & Sales Support
- Expert Advisory: Offer expert product knowledge and styling advice to deliver a bespoke shopping experience.
- Relationship Building: Foster lasting connections with our discerning clientele through professional and enthusiastic engagement.
- Brand Integrity: Maintain a high level of professionalism that reflects the values of our world-class brands.
Cash Control & Precision
- Financial Accuracy: Perform cash desk duties with absolute precision, ensuring zero variances in daily banking.
- Transactional Excellence: Handle manual and digital transactions efficiently while maintaining strict financial controls.
Stock & Operational Mastery
- Stock Integrity: Execute daily stock procedures, including weekly counts and shoe-pairing exercises to ensure display perfection.
- Organization: Manage customer orders and maintain a highly organized storeroom to support seamless floor operations.
- Store Presentation: Ensure the retail environment remains impeccable and reflects the luxury status of the Spitz brand.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Grade 12 / Matric (Essential).
- Experience: 6 months – 1 year of retail experience (Luxury or high-end fashion retail is highly preferred).
- Numerical Ability: Strong numerical skills for accurate transaction handling and stock counting.
- Attributes: * A detail-oriented mindset with a passion for high-end footwear and fashion.
- A team player who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills.
