🎯 Purpose of the Role
Tsebo is looking for a reliable and organized Administrator to act as the operational glue for their Durban-based catering site. You will be responsible for the accuracy of records and the efficiency of office operations. This role is highly collaborative, requiring you to provide clerical support to various departments—including HR, Finance, and Operations—to ensure a seamless workflow.
🔑 Duties & Responsibilities
Daily Operations & Data Management
- General Admin: Execute essential tasks such as filing, photocopying, scanning, and high-accuracy data entry.
- Database Maintenance: Update and maintain various registers, records, and databases to ensure information integrity.
- Correspondence: Process official documents, forms, and handle all incoming/outgoing mail and digital communications.
Departmental Support
- Reporting: Assist in the compilation of operational reports and the preparation of vital documentation.
- Clerical Support: Provide administrative aid to HR (employee records), Finance (basic bookkeeping/invoices), and the broader operational team.
- Inventory: Monitor and maintain office stationery and supply levels to avoid operational downtime.
Archiving & Organisation
- Document Control: Ensure all physical and digital documents are properly labeled, stored, and easily retrievable according to company standards.
✅ Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Grade 12 (Matric) is required.
- Advantageous: A Diploma or Certificate in Office Administration or a related field.
- Experience: 2–3 years of administrative experience in a professional office environment.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
