Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Sales Excellence
- The 30-Second Rule: Acknowledge every customer within 30 seconds of entry.
- Technical Advocacy: Use your product knowledge to demonstrate benefits and meet specific customer needs.
- Sales Growth: Master the art of closing sales and securing “add-ons” to maximize basket value.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor your daily sales against your individual budget every few hours to stay on target.
Inventory & Merchandising
- Stock Management: Replenish footwear and accessories daily; process new deliveries accurately (tagging, pricing, and recording in the POS system).
- Loss Prevention: Minimize shrinkage through active “zoning” and strict adherence to changing room policies.
- Visual Standards: Maintain world-class stock presentation and assist with fortnightly window and mannequin changes.
Operations & Training
- Store Upkeep: Take pride in daily housekeeping, including clearing the counter area and maintaining a tidy store.
- Career Development: Take ownership of your growth by working through the “Crocs Rookie Pack” and participating in monthly feedback sessions with your manager.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience.
- Flexibility: Must be able to work flexible retail shifts (weekends/holidays).
- Brand Knowledge: Knowledge of Crocs products is a significant advantage.
- Attributes: A positive attitude, a team-player mindset, and a passion for fast-paced retail.
