The Role
As a Permanent Store Assistant, you are the face of Kurt Geiger. You will ensure that every client receives world-class service while contributing to the store’s commercial success. From providing expert styling advice to maintaining impeccable store standards, your role is essential in creating a seamless and sophisticated shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
Premium Customer Service & Sales
- World-Class Service: Deliver a premium shopping experience through expert product knowledge and styling advice tailored to the Kurt Geiger man.
- Relationship Management: Build strong, lasting customer relationships through attentive service and a professional, enthusiastic demeanor.
- Brand Ambassadorship: Reflect the brand’s values in every interaction, ensuring the highest level of professionalism.
Cash Control & Precision
- Financial Accuracy: Manage cash desk duties with absolute precision, ensuring zero variances in all transactions.
- Banking Processes: Oversee daily cash control and banking procedures, including the efficient handling of manual transactions.
Stock & Operational Integrity
- Stock Management: Execute daily stock procedures, including weekly counts and shoe-pairing exercises to maintain display integrity.
- Organization: Efficiently manage customer orders and ensure the storeroom remains highly organized to support fast-paced floor operations.
- Store Presentation: Maintain an impeccable retail environment that aligns with our luxury brand standards.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Grade 12 / Matric (Essential).
- Experience: 6 months – 1 year of retail experience (Luxury or high-end fashion retail preferred).
- Analytical Skills: Strong numerical ability for accurate transaction and stock handling.
- Attributes: * A deep passion for high-end fashion, footwear, and client engagement.
- A detail-oriented mindset with the ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic setting.
- A collaborative team player with natural relationship-building skills.
