🎯 Job Purpose
The Gardener is responsible for the general maintenance and aesthetic appeal of the gardens, plants, and lawns across the Mmabatho Palms complex. You will ensure that the outdoor environment remains inviting and well-kept for guests.
🔑 Main Responsibilities
Horticulture & Plant Care
- Soil Management: Handle cultivation, digging, forking, mulching, and weeding.
- Planting: Sow seeds and plant or transplant flowers, shrubs, trees, and lawns.
- Maintenance: Perform regular watering, raking, edging, and pruning.
- Feeding: Naturally fertilize and trim plants to ensure they remain healthy and vibrant.
Lawn & Machinery Operation
- Grass Care: Maintain all lawn areas using cylinder and rotary mowers.
- Power Tools: Use strimmers (weed eaters) and leaf blowers effectively to maintain edges and clear debris.
- Equipment Care: Ensure all machinery is cleaned after use and stored securely to prevent theft or damage.
External Infrastructure & Housekeeping
- Hardscaping: Maintain pathways, ponds, steps, and walls.
- General Tiding: Keep the exterior of the building clean and organized.
