🔑 Key Responsibilities
Front-of-House & Secretarial
- Communication: Manage the switchboard, take accurate messages, and ensure a professional first impression for walk-in clients.
- Support: Provide secretarial and general administrative support to all branch staff.
- Meetings: Record and distribute minutes for branch meetings.
Financial & System Admin
- Sales & Purchasing: Invoice and file sales orders and create purchase orders (POs).
- Cash Management: Process credit card payments and maintain a reconciled cash float for daily branch expenses.
- Systems: Load new cash clients on Accpac (Sage 300) and ensure accurate digital record-keeping.
Operational Support
- Stock Control: Process stock requisitions and handle stock transfer requests in the absence of the Branch Manager to ensure business continuity.
✅ Minimum Requirements
Non-Negotiable (Must Have)
- Education: Grade 12 (Matric).
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a professional reception role.
- Technical: Proficiency in computer use (Email, Word, Excel).
Highly Advantageous
- Software: Previous experience using Sage 300 / Accpac is a significant advantage.
- Communication: Being well-spoken, friendly, and possessing excellent interpersonal skills.
