Fidelity Services Group is seeking a high-level TRT Co-Ordinator for their Vanderbijlpark operations. Lead tactical teams, manage large-scale security operations, and ensure strict QMS and Health & Safety compliance. Requires PSIRA Grade A, Matric, and 5 years of operational management experience. ๐ŸŽฏ Purpose of the Role

The TRT Co-Ordinator is a critical leadership position responsible for the elite Tactical Response Units in the Vanderbijlpark business unit. Reporting to the Operational Manager, you will oversee the strategic deployment of TRT officers, manage high-stakes incidents, and ensure that all operations are profitable, compliant with Quality Management Systems (QMS), and aligned with client-specific emergency plans. This role requires a balance of “boots-on-the-ground” tactical expertise and corporate administrative precision.


๐Ÿ”‘ Key Accountabilities

Operations & QMS Compliance (75% of time)

  • Incident Management: Handle major security incidents according to prescribed protocols and lead crime scene investigations.
  • Risk Mitigation: Identify physical risk factors and develop operational plans to mitigate identified threats.
  • Customer Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for client complaints and maintain continuous stakeholder relationships (SAPS, Metro Police, etc.).
  • Quality Control: Conduct self and cross-audits, compile detailed investigation reports, and ensure all site procedures are practiced regularly.

Staff & Performance Management (10% of time)

  • Leadership: Supervise TRT Team Leaders and Officers, conducting on-the-job training and site knowledge tests.
  • Administration: Manage monthly rosters, wage administration (ensuring zero pay queries), and leave planning.
  • Discipline: Conduct disciplinary hearings, appeals, and grievances in accordance with the Company Disciplinary Code.

Health, Safety & Equipment (15% of time)

  • H&S Oversight: Ensure SHE Reps and First Aiders are trained, conduct monthly inspections, and report “Near Misses” regularly.
  • Asset Control: Safeguard all company equipment through daily handovers and weekly audits to minimize financial loss.

โœ… Minimum Requirements

  • Education: Matric and PSIRA Grade A registration.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of operational management experience at a Managerial level within the security industry.
  • Technical Skills: * Intermediate PC literacy (MS Office).
    • Proficient in drafting concise, informative incident and investigation reports.
    • Strong understanding of the PFMA and QMS standards.
  • Licensing: Valid driverโ€™s licence and the ability to commute reliably.
