Key Responsibilities
- Customer Excellence: Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide professional advice on DIY tools and hardware.
- Sales Driving: Actively work towards branch sales goals by identifying opportunities to upsell and provide total solutions.
- Merchandising: Ensure that shelves are stocked, products are displayed according to brand standards, and the store remains organized.
- Inventory Control: Assist with regular stock taking and daily stock control procedures to minimize losses and maintain accuracy.
- Operational Support: Follow general retail branch procedures, including point-of-sale assistance and housekeeping.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Senior Certificate (Matric / Grade 12).
- Experience: Previous exposure to a Retail (Sales) environment is preferred, specifically in Merchandising, Stock Control, and Customer Service.
- Technical Advantage: Knowledge of DIY Tools or the Hardware environment is an absolute added advantage.
- Attributes: * Confident, reliable, and honest.
- A strong team player who is willing to learn and grow continuously.
- Highly motivated with a professional demeanor.
Working Hours & Benefits
- Salary: Negotiable with Benefits available.
- Hours: Monday – Friday (08:00 – 17:00) and Saturdays (08:00 – 13:00).
