This pivotal role acts as the central support hub for a national dealer network. You aren’t just selling parts; you are ensuring the entire supply chain functions by providing precise technical interpretations and seamless order management. You will be the “go-to” person for dealers across South Africa, helping them navigate complex parts catalogues and resolve supply discrepancies.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
Technical Parts Support
- EPC Mastery: Navigate Electronic Parts Catalogue (EPC) systems with high confidence to ensure 100% accurate part identification for various vehicle models.
- Parts Interpretation: Provide technical guidance to dealers on part compatibility, supercessions, and product specifications.
- Problem Solving: Coordinate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies in stock levels or order fulfillment.
Dealer Network Coordination
- Query Management: Support national dealers with all queries regarding pricing, availability, orders, and invoicing.
- Order Processing: Manage and process high volumes of dealer orders promptly while maintaining strict accuracy standards to prevent incorrect shipments.
- Process Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in the parts ordering process and suggest improvements to enhance the national aftersales operation.
Aftersales Administration
- Documentation: Ensure all pricing and invoicing data is accurate and compliant with company standards.
- Communication: Maintain professional verbal and written contact with stakeholders to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
✅ Minimum Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive parts sales or support, specifically within an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) or a franchised dealer environment.
- Systems: Strong competency in EPC systems and parts catalogue interpretation is essential.
- Software: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for data management and reporting.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills to support a national network effectively.
