🎯 Purpose of the Role
Operating within an Animal Feed Manufacturing plant requires strict adherence to cleanliness to prevent contamination and maintain a professional work environment. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for the hygiene and neatness of the administrative offices, staff kitchens, and general facilities. SSK is looking for a self-motivated individual who takes pride in their work and understands that a clean environment is the foundation of a safe workplace.
🔑 Responsibilities
- Facility Maintenance: Perform general cleaning of offices, boardrooms, kitchens, and restrooms.
- Hygiene Standards: Ensure all surfaces, floors, and common areas are sanitized and meet the company’s health and safety requirements.
- Waste Management: Ensure bins are emptied and the surrounding environment remains neat and free of clutter.
- Operational Support: Provide additional support to staff with miscellaneous tasks as required to ensure smooth daily operations.
✅ Requirements
- Education: A minimum of a Matric (Grade 12) qualification is required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role will be considered an advantage.
- Languages: Must be Bilingual in Afrikaans and English (essential for following instructions and interacting with the local team).
- Skills:
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage a daily workload effectively.
- Ability to function well under pressure in a manufacturing environment.
