🎯 Purpose of the Role
This role provides “turnkey” AI engineering capacity within a high-stakes Finance Technology division. You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of AI solutions, specifically focusing on Automated Finance Commentary. You will balance the maintenance of existing production models with the development of new, scalable finance transformation initiatives prioritized through standard Program Increment (PI) cycles.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
Product Support & Enhancement
- Automated Commentary: Take full ownership of the existing Automated Finance Commentary AI solution, ensuring its stability, accuracy, and high performance.
- Feature Development: Design and implement enhancements for the commentary solution as prioritized during PI planning.
- Integration: Seamlessly integrate new data sources (both structured and unstructured) into current AI models.
Delivery & Strategy
- Finance Transformation: Contribute to and deliver on strategic AI initiatives aimed at transforming financial decision-making processes.
- Agile Execution: Ensure consistent monthly delivery of allocated work, meeting all agreed-upon acceptance criteria within an Agile framework.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the bridge between finance and technology, translating complex financial requirements into functional AI-enabled solutions.
✅ Required Skills & Experience
- Experience: Proven track record as an AI Engineer, ML Engineer, or in a similar technical capacity.
- Technical Proficiency: * Strong programming skills in Python (or other languages standard to AI engineering).
- Hands-on experience supporting and enhancing production-grade AI solutions.
- Data Handling: Expertise in working with both structured and unstructured data sources.
- Methodology: Exposure to Agile delivery environments and participation in PI-based planning cycles.
- Domain Knowledge (Advantageous): Previous experience supporting Finance or Financial Services environments is highly preferred.
