The Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Trainee Programme is a strategic initiative to bridge the gap between academic theory and the workplace. This 18-month journey is designed for TVET college students who require practical experience to complete their qualifications or enhance their employability. You will work under the guidance of the Senior Manager: Training & Development, receiving mentorship and exposure to the complex operational world of South African ports.

Task Execution & Administration
- Project Support: Assist in specific departmental projects and work-streams.
- Operations: Perform routine operational tasks under supervision to understand the flow of port planning.
- Documentation: Support administrative functions, including filing, reporting, and maintaining accurate records.
Learning & Research
- Professional Shadowing: Shadow experienced professionals to gain practical insights into the industry.
- Data Analysis: Conduct basic market research and data collection to support business decision-making.
- Reporting: Prepare professional reports and presentations using MS Office tools.
Communication & Compliance
- Collaboration: Interact with internal teams, customers, and suppliers to understand logistics needs.
- Safety: Strictly follow company policies and safety regulations (OHS) within the port environment.
- Ethics: Maintain high standards of confidentiality and professional integrity.
โ Qualifications and Experience
- Citizenship: Must be a South African citizen.
- Age: Between 18 and 35 years old.
- Education: * Matric Certificate.
- N6 in Transport & Logistics or Business Management.
- Documentation (Mandatory): * Certified Matric Certificate and ID copy.
- Latest Academic Record.
- TVET College Experiential Learning Letter (proving you require WIL).
- Constraints: No existing bursary obligations with other companies.
