This role is perfect for a systems-focused individual who enjoys inventory control, resolving variances, and maintaining a world-class distribution environment.
๐ Key Areas of Responsibility
Inventory & Stock Management
- Variance Control: Adhere to Stock Take SOPs and lead weekly investigations into stock variances.
- System Integrity: Manage FIFO (First-In-First-Out) rotations and maintain accurate PAR levels to prevent wastage.
- Stock Health: Oversee dedicated bays for damaged or discontinued items and ensure only approved stock is available on the portal.
Quality Control & Receiving
- Verification: Check that all goods received match the correct pricing and immediately raise claims for discrepancies.
- Cold Chain Management: Ensure temperature-sensitive products are handled correctly from the moment they arrive until they are transported.
- Claims: Resolve Delivery Overs, Shorts, and Damages (OS&D) timeously through collaboration with Logistics.
Warehouse Compliance & Safety
- Organisation: Ensure all pallet bays are clearly labelled and cleaning checklists are completed daily.
- Security: Enforce strict access control and PPE/uniform compliance at all times.
- Reporting: Compile daily Warehouse Reports and use Sage to maintain accurate records.

- Education: Diploma or Degree in Warehousing, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Experience: * Minimum 2 years using Inventory and FIFO systems.
- Prior experience in a warehouse environment is essential.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Sage and MS Office Suite (specifically Excel).
- Attributes: * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accountability.
- Ability to thrive in a high-performance, fast-paced retail/restaurant supply chain.
