Role Overview
We are looking for a technically savvy Service Advisor to act as the vital link between our customers and our specialized service technicians. You won’t just be managing paperwork; you will be the Technical Product Specialist, providing expert advice on repairs, warranties, and maintenance for a wide range of industrial equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Liaison: Consult with Repair Technicians to evaluate necessary repairs and propose cost-effective alternatives to customers.
- Expert Advisory: Use your product knowledge to advise customers on parts, service options, and warranty protections.
- Workflow Management: Overlook the Repairs Division schedule to ensure efficient turnaround times and optimal workflow.
- Customer Journey: Manage the full service cycle—from booking appointments and answering technical outcomes to notifying customers for pick-up.
- Relationship Building: Maintain a high standard of professional interaction to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty.
Technical Expertise Required
Candidates must demonstrate a strong understanding of repairs and maintenance for:
- Power & Welding: A wide range of power tools and welding machines.
- Pneumatics: Air compressors and related systems.
- Engines & Power Gen: Small petrol and diesel engines, as well as generators.
Minimum Requirements
- Experience: Proven work experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar technical repairs environment.
- Knowledge: Sound understanding of mechanical systems and tool maintenance.
- Communication: Must be able to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal) with customers at all levels.
- Attributes: Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing complex repair schedules.
Working Hours
- Monday – Friday: 08:00 – 17:00
- Saturday: 08:00 – 13:00
