🎯 Purpose of the Job
As part of the Business Support Organization (BSO), you will be responsible for the integrity of RCL Foods’ pricing and rebate systems. This role is high-precision, requiring you to facilitate accurate claim capturing, maintain authorized price lists, and provide critical sales information that ensures the business remains profitable and compliant with trading terms.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
Pricing & List Management
- ERP Capturing: Capture all promotional deals into the ERP system, ensuring correct details are loaded and released to sub-distributors on time.
- Mandate Compliance: Update list prices strictly according to the authorized Mandate schedule.
- Template Maintenance: Maintain the PO Number Template with new products and pricing, separate from the standard price lists.
Claims & Rebate Management
- Reconciliation: Prepare rebate recons per customer and ensure all ad-hoc payments are allocated correctly against the budget.
- Audit & Validation: Audit claims and approved credits to determine validity; ensure any rejected claims are successfully recovered.
- Statement Accuracy: Reconcile rebate account statements and “Value Only” credit notes processed in the Income Statement.
Analysis & Reporting
- Trading Terms: Analyze new trading terms, maintain the Rebate Master File, and escalate any deviations from standard policy.
- Data Extraction: Extract sales figures per customer to calculate rebates and compile reports in specific customer formats.
- Provisioning: Extract rebate provisions from the QK system and prepare journals to raise these provisions.
✅ Minimum Requirements
- Education: Diploma or Degree in Finance (Required).
- Experience: 1–2 years of experience in a similar pricing, rebate, or financial clerk role.
- Systems: Proficiency in SAP or Syspro is highly advantageous.
- Technical Skills: Strong ability to manage complex data files, capture credit notes, and manage EFT workflows.
