Role Overview

Bidvest Prestige is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Key Accounts Administrator to join our Sales and Marketing business unit. You will be responsible for the administrative health of our most significant corporate accounts, ensuring world-class service delivery and long-term client retention. This role is essential for coordinating sales activities, maintaining client relationships, and providing the data-driven support our sales team needs to thrive.


Key Areas of Impact

Account Management & Client Retention

  • Relationship Maintenance: Serve as a primary administrative point of contact for key clients, building trust through professional and timely engagement.
  • Inquiry Management: Respond to client inquiries with speed and professionalism, ensuring that all needs are addressed according to the Service Level Agreement (SLA).
  • Conflict Resolution: Proactively handle customer complaints and resolve service issues to maintain high levels of client satisfaction.

Sales Support & Coordination

  • Documentation: Prepare accurate quotes, professional proposals, and detailed sales contracts for high-value accounts.
  • Activity Coordination: Synchronize sales activities between departments to ensure that promised services are delivered seamlessly.
  • Internal Coaching: Assist in coaching sales team members on administrative best practices and key account management principles.

Reporting & Market Analysis

  • Data Tracking: Maintain rigorous records of sales data and prepare comprehensive performance reports for senior management.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activity and local market trends to help the sales team identify new growth opportunities.

What You Need to Succeed

Minimum Requirements

  • Experience: Proven track record in Key Account Management or Sales Administration, ideally within the services or facilities management industry.
  • Technical Proficiency: High level of competence in the MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
  • Competencies: Strong understanding of sales techniques and modern Customer Relationship Management (CRM) principles.
