Key Performance Areas
Transaction & Customer Management
- Point of Sale (POS): Handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently to maintain a smooth flow of service.
- Service Excellence: Act as the face of the brand, providing friendly and professional service that aligns with the Pedros vibe.
- Communication: Use strong verbal skills to confirm orders, upsell menu items, and answer customer queries clearly.
Operational Support & Quality
- Product Preparation: Assist in preparing menu items according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to support the team during peak rush hours.
- Speed of Service: Maintain a sense of urgency to ensure customers are served quickly without compromising on the quality of their meals.
Hygiene & Food Safety
- Safety Protocols: Adhere strictly to food safety standards and hygiene regulations to ensure a safe environment for both the team and customers.
- Station Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized workstation and service area at all times according to SOP.
What You Need to Succeed
Minimum Requirements
- Education: National Senior Certificate (Grade 12).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of related experience in a Restaurant or Fast-Food Service environment.
- Skills: Exceptional customer service skills and a high level of numeracy for cash handling.
