Role Overview

SBV Services invites suitably qualified young South Africans to apply for a unique 12-month career development opportunity. This position combines practical workplace experience as a Cash Processor with a fully funded professional qualification in the banking sector.

This contract is specifically reserved for persons with disabilities who are looking to build a career in financial services and cash management.


Qualification Offered (Fully Funded)

Successful candidates will be enrolled in the following accredited programme:

  • Qualification: Further Education and Training Certificate: Banking
  • SAQA ID: 20185
  • NQF Level: 5 (120 Credits)

Key Responsibilities & Competencies

As a Cash Processor and Learner, you will be trained to:

  • Operational Accuracy: Analyse information and identify potential discrepancies in cash processing.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement strict controls to ensure the safety and security of assets.
  • Professionalism: Communicate clearly with team members and adhere to high-quality standards and legislation.
  • Efficiency: Manage your time effectively to meet daily productivity and customer requirements.
  • Relationship Building: Foster positive working relationships within your team and with external stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this programme, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Citizenship: Must be a South African citizen.
  • Age: Must be 29 years of age or younger at the start of the contract.
  • Education: Grade 12 (Matric) with Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy.
  • Disability Status: Must be a person with a disability and be able to provide valid supporting medical documentation.
  • Commitment: Must be available to commit to the full 12-month contract period.
