Role Purpose
Fidelity ADT is seeking disciplined and courageous Armed Response Officers to join our elite tactical teams across Cape Town. In this role, you are the first line of defense for our clients. You will be responsible for responding to emergency signals, conducting proactive patrols, and ensuring the safety of lives and property. We are looking for individuals who embody our commitment to excellence, integrity, and proactive protection.
Key Areas of Impact
Tactical Response & Patrols
- Emergency Response: React swiftly and effectively to alarm activations and emergency calls within designated zones.
- Proactive Surveillance: Conduct high-visibility vehicle patrols to deter criminal activity and identify security risks.
- Incident Management: Manage crime scenes and incidents with professionalism, ensuring the safety of all parties until law enforcement arrives.
Safety & Compliance
- Firearm Discipline: Maintain and handle firearms in strict accordance with the Firearms Control Act and company SOPs.
- Legal Accountability: Operate within the legal framework provided by PSIRA and the Criminal Procedures Act.
- Reporting: Provide accurate verbal and written feedback on all incidents and alarm activations.
Client Relations
- Professionalism: Act as a calm and authoritative presence during high-stress situations.
- Customer Care: Provide assistance and reassurance to clients during and after security breaches or emergencies.
What You Need to Succeed
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Grade 10 (Standard 8) minimum.
- PSIRA: Valid Grade C PSIRA accreditation.
- Firearm Proficiency: Valid Firearm Competency for Business Purposes (Handgun).
- Licensing: Valid South African Driver’s License.
- Health: Must be physically fit and in good health to perform tactical duties.
- Integrity: A completely clear criminal record is mandatory.
- Residency: Must currently reside within the Western Cape.
