Role Purpose
As an Internal Sales Support Specialist, you are the vital engine behind our reseller ecosystem. Based in our Midrand office, you will serve as the primary link between existing clients, the external sales team, and our vendor partners. This role requires a high-energy professional who can manage complex ICT quotations, maintain CRM integrity, and deliver rapid response times to ensure customer retention and brand excellence.
Key Areas of Impact
Sales Operations & CRM Management
- Rapid Quoting: Respond to Account Managers and Resellers within a 2-hour SLA. Perform quote revisions based on bill-of-materials (BOM) changes or Rate of Exchange (ROE) fluctuations.
- CRM Excellence: Load opportunities and quotes into the CRM system, ensuring cost and selling prices are accurate and tracking notes are updated for the external sales team.
- Order Orchestration: Manage the end-to-end sales process—from receiving inquiries to processing orders and arranging product dispatch.
Vendor & Brand Liaison
- Technical Configurations: Multiskill by collaborating with pre-sales and brand managers to perform entry-level configurations for hardware and software.
- Pricing Escalations: Liaise with vendors for specialized pricing and discount queries, ensuring all active promotions are applied to quotes.
- Knowledge Management: Attain and maintain certifications for the specific ICT brands you support (a prerequisite for this role).
Administrative & Account Support
- Backlog Reporting: Compile and distribute weekly backlog reports to maintain transparency with resellers.
- Relationship Management: Maintain professional, high-trust relationships with JHB and Africa-based resellers.
- Information Architecture: Maintain an updated brand directory with vendor quotes and reference materials for easy access.
What You Need to Succeed
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Grade 12 (Matric).
- Experience: 2–3 years of internal sales support experience specifically within the ICT Distribution industry.
- Mobility: Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport.
- Language: Fluency in English (International business standard) for written and verbal communication.
- Identity: Must be an EE (Employment Equity) candidate.

- Initiative: Self-motivated with the ability to influence and present credibly at all organizational levels.
