SCM Operations & Projects

  • Rotational Learning: Experience the full SCM lifecycle through rotational assignments within the Finance division.
  • Project Assistance: Support departmental projects, including procurement planning, sourcing, and contract management.
  • Research: Conduct market research and data analysis to support supply chain decision-making.

Administration & Compliance

  • Administrative Support: Assist with the processing of orders, tender documentation, and supplier database maintenance.
  • Standards Adherence: Ensure all tasks comply with SABS organisational policies, the PFMA, and professional procurement standards.
  • Reporting: Submit regular progress reports and complete formal assessments to track your development.

Professional Growth

  • Structured Training: Participate in development initiatives designed to sharpen your technical and soft skills.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet departmental objectives.

  • Citizenship: South African citizen.

  • Education: Bachelorโ€™s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related Finance field.
  • Academic Performance: Minimum 80% academic average for the completed qualification (SABS is looking for top achievers).
  • Experience: No formal work experience related to the field of study.
  • Employment Status: Currently unemployed.
