๐ฏ Program Purpose
This Learnership is a specialized entry-level program designed to develop the next generation of dairy processing professionals. Participants will be integrated into the Milk Reception team, learning the critical first steps of the dairy supply chain. You will be trained on how to handle raw milk, ensure its quality, and maintain the high hygiene standards required in a world-class FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) environment.
๐ Key Learning Modules
During the 12-month period, learners will receive both classroom theory and on-the-floor practical training in:
- Nature of Milk: Understanding the biological and chemical properties of milk.
- Milk Reception: Procedures for receiving raw milk from farms.
- Food Safety: Maintaining the integrity of the product for consumer consumption.
- CIP & COP: Learning specialized cleaning processes (Cleaning-In-Place and Cleaning-Out-of-Place) essential for dairy machinery.
- Housekeeping: Maintaining a sterile and organized production environment.

- Status: Must be currently unemployed.
- Age: Between 18 โ 29 years old.
- Nationality: South African citizen.
- Education: Grade 12 (Matric).
- Experience: No previous work experience is required. This program is specifically targeted at first-time job seekers.
