The ideal candidate is a professional who acts with absolute honesty and integrity, ensuring every customer interaction is positive while maintaining 100% accuracy in financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Centricity: Provide professional, empathetic, and expert service to every customer, ensuring their needs are met in line with Pepkor standards.
- Financial Processing: Accurately process transactions and daily cash-ups; identify and prevent potential fraud.
- Sales Excellence: Drive to achieve and exceed individual sales targets in a competitive retail landscape.
- Operational Administration: Manage reception/switchboard duties and maintain meticulous administrative records.
- Stock & Merchandising: Assist with receiving and dispatching stock; ensure world-class store presentation and housekeeping.
- Product Expertise: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest home tech and sleep products to provide informed advice to shoppers.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Grade 12 (Matric).
- Skills: * Strong Numeracy skills and the ability to work accurately with money.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel); SAP experience is highly advantageous.
- Excellent telephone etiquette and interpersonal communication.
- Experience: * Practical experience in a financial or administrative role.
- Prior experience in Cellular or Furniture retail is a strong advantage.
- Attributes: * Conscientious with a high level of integrity.
- Target-driven and self-motivated.
- Sharp attention to detail with a focus on fraud detection and safety.
