Role Purpose

Are you a creative designer who believes that great design can make learning easier? Pedros is looking for a Content & Graphic Designer to join our Training Department. Your mission is to take technical operational requirements and translate them into clear, engaging, and compliant training content. From designing SOP manuals to editing instructional videos, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our store teams have the visual tools they need to deliver the “unbeatable” Pedros experience.


Key Performance Areas

Visual Instructional Design

  • Material Enhancement: Update and elevate existing training content, including Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documents, manuals, and job aids.
  • In-Store Aids: Create high-impact infographics, posters, and quick-reference guides for use in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Branding Consistency: Ensure all training materials are visually engaging while remaining strictly aligned with Pedros’ brand and operational standards.

Multimedia & Video Production

  • Video Content: Assist in the creation and editing of training videos, ensuring that demonstrations are clear, accurate, and easy for operational teams to follow.
  • Simplification: Take complex, technical information and convert it into simple, learner-friendly visual assets.

Operational Support & Rollout

  • Collaborative Design: Work closely with trainers and operations teams to understand the specific learning needs of the franchise staff.
  • Store Openings: Support the content rollout for new store openings and facilitate updates for refresher training programmes.
  • Version Control: Maintain meticulous file organization and version control to ensure the most current training materials are in circulation.

What You Need to Succeed

Minimum Requirements

  • Education: Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, or Visual Communication.
  • Experience: 1โ€“2 years in a content or graphic design role (internships are acceptable).
  • Industry Advantage: Previous exposure to designing training content, SOPs, or instructional materials is a major plus.
  • Mobility: A valid driverโ€™s license is required as you may need to travel to store sites to understand workflows firsthand.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
  • Basic video editing skills (Premiere Pro or similar).
  • The ability to follow a creative brief while maintaining strict attention to detail.
