Role Purpose

In the Healthcare and Hospitality sectors, timing is everything. As the People Logistics Supervisor, you are responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant movement of our most valuable asset: our people. You will oversee the daily coordination of personnel transportation, ensuring that employees and contractors reach satellite sites, remote work locations, and main facilities on time, every time.

Key Areas of Impact

People & Team Leadership

• Supervision: Lead and mentor a dedicated team of company and contracted drivers, fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
• Scheduling: Manage complex driver rotas and shift assignments to ensure 100% route coverage, even in the event of absenteeism or delays.
• Compliance: Rigorously verify driver licenses, professional permits (PrDP), and adherence to hours-of-service regulations.

Operational Excellence & Planning

• Route Optimization: Continuously review and refine transport routes to maximize vehicle efficiency, reduce fuel costs, and minimize personnel waiting times.
• Incident Management: Serve as the primary point of escalation for vehicle breakdowns, traffic incidents, or delays, implementing immediate corrective actions.
• Dispatch Oversight: Manage the daily dispatch and end-of-shift check-in processes, ensuring all electronic and manual logs are accurate.

Safety & Fleet Management

• Fleet Readiness: Oversee the preventative maintenance schedule for all vehicles, ensuring timely inspections and repairs to maintain full operational readiness.
• Safety Audits: Conduct daily audits of pre-trip and post-trip inspections; manage the security of company assets including fuel cards and communication devices.
• Compliance Enforcement: Enforce strict adherence to site-specific rules, company safety policies, and national transport regulations.

Administration & KPIs

• Performance Analysis: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) including On-Time Performance (OTP), vehicle utilization, and fuel efficiency.
• Budgetary Control: Identify cost-saving opportunities through improved route efficiency and responsible resource management.

What You Need to Succeed

Experience & Requirements

• Proven Track Record: Minimum 3+ years’ experience specifically within People Logistics.
• Scale: Demonstrated experience in transporting 50+ personnel simultaneously across multiple routes.
• Technical Skill: Advanced proficiency in Route Planning and logistics scheduling.
• Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to support 24/7 operations.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in a hybrid environment (Office-based planning vs. Active yard/floor management).
• Resilience to work in varying weather conditions and stand/walk for extended periods during vehicle audits.
