Role Purpose
Are you a dynamic, results-driven individual with a passion for high-end retail? Bradlows Uitenhage is seeking a Salesperson to join our Corkwood team. Your primary goal will be to generate income and maximize profit by recommending the best lifestyle products to our customers. This role is perfect for someone who excels at building rapport, understands the retail sales cycle, and is motivated by achieving monthly sales targets.
Key Performance Areas
Sales & Revenue Generation
- Direct Selling: Perform proactive sales activities to convert foot traffic into successful transactions.
- Target Achievement: Consistently work toward and achieve set sales budgets and income targets.
- Product Knowledge: Develop extensive knowledge across all categories (Furniture, Bedding, Appliances) to provide expert advice to customers.
Customer Experience & Merchandising
- Customer Centricity: Engage with customers in a professional manner, identifying their specific needs and recommending tailored solutions.
- Store Presentation: Attract and retain customers by ensuring the floor is effectively merchandised according to brand standards.
- Retention: Build long-term relationships to encourage repeat business and brand loyalty.
Administrative Compliance
- Transaction Management: Handle both cash and credit sales processes accurately.
- Policy Adherence: Ensure all administrative tasks and credit applications are processed in strict accordance with Pepkor Business Policies and Procedures.
What You Need to Succeed
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Grade 12 (Matric) is essential.
- Experience: 7 – 12 Months of retail sales experience is required (experience in furniture or high-ticket lifestyle retail is an advantage).
- Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of retail operations and the sales/prospecting cycle.
