Role Overview
Dis-Chem Pharmacies is looking for a skilled and passionate Beauty Therapist to join our professional salons in Midrand. In this role, you will be the face of Dis-Chem Beauty, providing world-class skincare and body treatments while building lasting relationships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Service Excellence: Deliver high-quality salon experiences, including facials, waxing, massages, manicures, and pedicures in line with Dis-Chem standards.
- Client Liaison: Manage client queries and complaints professionally, ensuring every customer receives personalized care and expert advice.
- Operational Management: Monitor and manage salon stock levels, ensuring all equipment is sanitary, operational, and ready for use.
- Product Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest industry trends, treatment techniques, and skincare products to provide informed recommendations.
- Business Growth: Promote salon services to create awareness of Dis-Chem’s comprehensive beauty and body treatment offerings.
Requirements & Qualifications
Minimum Essential:
- Education: Grade 12 / Matric.
- Certification: 2-year National or International Certificate/Diploma in Beauty Therapy.
- Experience: Minimum of 12 months practical experience in a professional salon environment.
- Skills: Computer literate with sound numerical skills.
- Citizenship: Must be a South African citizen with clear credit and criminal records.
Advantageous:
- 3-year Diploma in Beauty Therapy.
- 3+ years of professional salon experience.
- Specialized training in Soft Laser, Bio-Magnetic treatments, Microdermabrasion, Slimming, or Spray Tanning.
- Bilingualism.

- Technical Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of skin anatomy, physiology, and contraindications.
- Physical Fitness: Fit and able to perform intensive massage, facial, and body treatments throughout the day.
- Customer-Centric: Strong command of English with excellent interpersonal and team-player skills.
