Position Summary
Fidelity Services Group is looking for elite Armed Response Officers to join our tactical team in Cape Town. This is a critical role requiring high-level training in tactical response, firearm proficiency, and crisis management. As the first line of defense, you will be responsible for rapid intervention and ensuring the safety of our clients and the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Emergency Response: Provide rapid, tactical, and effective response to emergency calls and high-risk incidents.
- Tactical Coordination: Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services to manage security threats and property protection.
- Risk Assessment: Perform thorough on-site investigations and threat assessments to mitigate potential risks.
- Operational Readiness: Maintain a high level of proficiency in firearms and tactical strategies; adhere to all company policies and national regulations.
- Professional Communication: Deliver clear, concise reports and communicate effectively with dispatch, team members, and clients.
Requirements (Essential)
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a professional Armed Response role, Law Enforcement, or Private Security.
- Certifications:
- Valid PSIRA Certificate.
- Valid Firearms Competence (Business Purpose) for Handgun, Shotgun, and Rifle.
- Valid Driver’s License with PrDP.
- Clearance: Clean criminal record and the ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
- Fitness & Resilience: High level of physical fitness and the ability to perform under extreme stress.
- Availability: Flexibility to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and emergency call-outs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in specialized units (e.g., SWAT, Special Forces).
- Advanced training in conflict resolution or crisis management.
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
