๐ฏ Purpose of the Role
As an Admin Associate, you are the operational backbone of the homechoice showroom. You will balance technical administration with customer-facing service, ensuring that every transactionโfrom account openings to complex returnsโis processed accurately. Your goal is to keep the “behind-the-scenes” documentation perfect while helping customers create the beautiful homes they love.
๐ What You Will Love Doing
Administrative & Financial Accuracy
- Customer Journey: Guide customers through account openings, process orders, and manage credits and refunds efficiently.
- Documentation: Manage day-to-day administration and reporting to ensure store operational goals are tracked and met.
- Compliance: Maintain up-to-date documentation for all store processes and goods returns.
Stock & Showroom Management
- Inventory Control: Perform daily stock management and monitor catalogue inventory levels to ensure they align with the latest product offerings.
- Returns Management: Manage the return of goods while ensuring all paperwork is compliant and the stockroom stays organized.
- Visual Standards: Oversee visual merchandising and maintain excellent housekeeping to ensure the showroom is aesthetically pleasing and safe.
Customer Experience & Sales Support
- Engagement: Create a positive, insight-led experience for customers by providing in-depth process knowledge.
- Ad-hoc Sales: Assist with in-store selling and community activations in surrounding areas when needed.
โ What Youโll Need
- Education: Grade 12 / Matric (NQF Level 3 or 4).
- Experience: * Minimum 1 year of retail store experience.
- Minimum 1 year of administration experience.
- Compliance: Must not be currently debarred or declared “not fit and proper” in terms of the FAIS Act.
- Attributes: Strong analytical ability, high attention to detail, and a “team player” mindset.
