Role Overview

An innovative market leader in the manufacturing sector is seeking a sophisticated and highly proactive Personal Assistant to the CEO. Based in the heart of Sandton, this role is designed for an administrative powerhouse who thrives in a fast-paced, high-stakes executive environment.

The successful candidate will act as the “right hand” to the CEO, ensuring operational efficiency through meticulous planning, gatekeeping, and high-level administrative support.


Key Responsibilities

  • Executive Coordination: Comprehensive management of the CEO’s complex calendar, prioritizing appointments, and handling international/local travel logistics.
  • Communication Management: Prepare high-level correspondence, board-level presentations, and detailed reports. Act as the primary liaison between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Strategic Meeting Support: Coordinate board and management meetings, ensuring all agendas, venues, and materials are prepared. Attend and document follow-up actions where necessary.
  • Confidentiality & Gatekeeping: Screen all incoming calls, emails, and requests. Manage sensitive information with the highest degree of professionalism and discretion.
  • Project Assistance: Provide administrative support for special projects, document management, and deadline tracking for executive initiatives.

Candidate Requirements

  • Education: Matric and a relevant Tertiary Qualification (Administration, Business Management, or related).
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years as a Personal Assistant or Executive Assistant to C-suite leadership or senior management.
  • Technical Skills: Expert proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Professionalism: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a refined corporate presence.
  • Competencies: Strong organizational aptitude, the ability to multi-task under pressure, and a proactive “forward-thinking” approach to problem-solving.
