Our client, based in Mount Edgecombe, is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Software Developer to join their innovative technical team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)—from initial coding and testing to final implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Development & Maintenance: Write, debug, and maintain clean, efficient code across the product suite.

• Collaboration: Work closely with senior developers to improve product functionality and participate in estimation discussions with the product team.
• Quality Assurance: Participate in rigorous code reviews and QA activities to maintain high coding standards.
• Continuous Learning: Attend developer meetings and proactively stay updated with the latest industry trends and programming languages.

Technical Requirements

The successful candidate must demonstrate proficiency in the following stack:

• Languages: C#, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Database Management: Excellent understanding of Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL programming.
• Version Control: Practical experience with GIT or TFS.
• Systems: Knowledge of various databases and operating systems.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: BSc (Computer Science or Information Systems), BCom (Information Systems), National Diploma in IT, or an equivalent qualification.
• Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills with a highly developed attention to detail.
