Step Into a Leadership Role in Technical Sales
Are you a dynamic sales professional ready to take the next step into management? Adendorff Machinery Mart is seeking a Counter Sales (2IC) to join our highly successful Boksburg team. As the Second-in-Charge, you will be a vital pillar of the branch, driving revenue through technical expertise while providing leadership support to ensure operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Sales Leadership: Maximize and drive branch sales by leading by example and identifying growth opportunities within the local market.
- Operational Management: Handle administrative and managerial duties to support the Branch Manager; ensure all branch procedures are strictly followed.
- Supervisory Support: Assist in managing and developing staff, fostering a high-performance culture on the sales floor.
- Inventory Mastery: Maintain rigorous control over stock levels and inventory accuracy to meet customer demand.
- Technical Advocacy: Use your deep knowledge of DIY, automotive, and engineering tools to provide “total solutions” to our customers.
- Brand Ambassadorship: Promote a positive company image through high-quality customer service and meticulous branch housekeeping.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Senior Certificate (Matric / Grade 12).
- Experience: * Solid background in Automotive, Engineering, Tools, or Hardware retail.
- Proven staff supervisory experience is essential for this 2IC capacity.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong technical knowledge of DIY tools and machinery is an absolute added advantage.
- Logistics: Own Vehicle is essential.
- Attributes: A confident, reliable, and honest individual who excels in a team-oriented environment.
Working Hours & Benefits
- Salary: Negotiable based on experience, with comprehensive benefits available.
- Hours: Monday – Friday (08:00 – 17:00) and Saturdays (08:00 – 13:00).
