Join Bayobab, a subsidiary of MTN, at the forefront of digital connectivity across Africa. We are seeking a high-potential Technology Trainee to provide end-to-end administrative and coordination support to our Fibre Infrastructure team.
This is a premier opportunity for a graduate to gain exposure to large-scale, enterprise-wide transformation initiatives and global infrastructure projects. You will be integrated into strategic meetings, assist in high-level decision-making documentation, and help drive service quality across our international operations.
Key Deliverables & Learning Areas
- Strategic Support: Participate in strategic and enterprise-wide transformation meetings; prepare documentation required for executive sign-off and tactical changes.
- Project Coordination: Provide input into internal and global projects, reporting on progress, risk mitigation, and performance metrics.
- Communication & Research: Research content for senior-level presentations, ensuring alignment with MTN’s corporate standards and quality assurance.
- Knowledge Management: Curate and maintain departmental knowledge bases; assist Group and OpCo staff in navigating technical documentation and FAQs.
- Operational Governance: Assist in defining governance policies, updating service annexes to contracts, and drafting training documentation.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Interface with OpCo contacts to support strategic opportunities and ensure cross-functional alignment.
Job Requirements
- Education: A relevant 3- or 4-year formal Degree or Diploma (Information Technology, Engineering, or Business-related fields).
- Experience: 0 – 2 years of work experience (Entry-level graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Expert PowerPoint, Excel, and Word skills are essential).
- Licensing: Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport.
- Mobility: Ability to travel both locally and internationally for work purposes.
