Are you a dynamic sales professional with a passion for engineering, automotive, or hardware? Adendorff Machinery Mart is a rapidly growing market leader, and we are looking for an ambitious Counter Sales Associate to join our successful Alberton team. This role is designed for a confident individual who can balance high-volume sales with technical expertise and supervisory responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Generation: Drive and maximize branch revenue to meet and exceed strategic growth goals through exemplary product advice.
- Customer Care: Promote a positive company image by delivering high-quality service in accordance with global brand standards.
- Operational Oversight: Handle administrative and managerial duties as required; follow all branch procedures meticulously.
- Stock & Inventory: Maintain strict control over stock levels to ensure product availability for our diverse client base.
- Supervisory Support: Utilize your experience to assist in staff supervision and lead by example on the sales floor.
- Technical Growth: Commit to continuous self-development and stay updated on our extensive range of specialized machinery.
- Branch Maintenance: Ensure general housekeeping standards are met to provide a world-class shopping environment.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Senior Certificate (Matric / Grade 12).
- Experience: * Proven experience in the Automotive, Engineering, Tools, or Hardware sectors.
- Previous staff supervisory experience is highly advantageous.
- Strong understanding of retail branch procedures.
- Technical Knowledge: Prior knowledge of DIY tools or the hardware environment is an absolute added advantage.
- Logistics: Must have an Own Vehicle (Essential).
- Attributes: Confident, reliable, honest, and a proactive team player.
Working Hours & Benefits
- Salary: Negotiable based on experience, with benefits available.
- Hours: Monday – Friday (08:00 – 17:00) and Saturdays (08:00 – 13:00).
